Directions to Exmouth Beach Courts
By Road
Take the M5, A30 or A38 to Exeter M5 Junction 30, then follow the signs to Exmouth. At Exmouth make your way to the Sea Front / Beach, as you drive along the sea front you will pass the "Bath House" pub on your left (postcode for Sat Navs : EX8 2AZ), the Pavilion and the old life boat station. The Beach Volleyball area is approximately 200m past the old life boat station on your right.

Parking
There are various places to park, the most convenient is the car park opposite the beach volleyball area. It's a Pay and Display : £1.00 per hour every day of the year. We also have access to the Exmouth Cricket Club at weekends (including the Bar facilities), all day Sunday parking is a lot cheaper than using the car park.
Free Parking : For Tuesday evenings, by the "Bath House" / Pavilion area of the sea front. For all day free parking on a Sunday the nearest is in the Cyprus Road area, although it can get busy and is a good mile away (and up hill!).
By Train
Take a main line service to either Exeter St David's or Exeter Central stations which connects with the Exmouth branch line, generally a half hour service on weekdays, a limited service on Sundays. First Great Western has direct services to Exmouth from Barnstaple (North Devon) and Torbay (South Devon).
The railway station is 1 mile (1.6 km) from the beach volleyball area (a 20 minute walk), follow the road signs to the beach then keep going until you see the volleyball nets. (Most local players come from Exeter and hence will drive past the railway station on their return, ask around for a lift back to the station).
By Bus
There is no bus service to the beach volleyball area, the nearest is bus number 95 which goes from the Bus / Railway station, along the sea front but turns off to Sandy Bay, just before the beach volleyball area. It's a daily summer service only and leaves the bus station at 55 min past the hour. Route 95 Time Table.
By Air
Exeter Airport is about nine miles away, services are operated by Flybe. Unless you have time to take local transport into Exeter, it's best to either hire a car or take a taxi to Exmouth.
By Bike
You can now cycle on mostly dedicated cycle paths between Exmouth all the way round to Dawlish along the Exe Trail.
Nearby:
Next to the Beach Volleyball area is the Maer (an old golf course), adjacent to the Mare is a purpose build BBQ area, a kids play area and the Exmouth Cricket club which has an open bar for non-members.
